Adult fleas are no larger than 1/8″ long. They lay about 20 to 40 eggs per day. these eggs can call off the host (usually an animal) and land on the floor, carpet, or bedding. The eggs start to hatch in two to five days. Flea infestation typically increases in warmer months.
