Mice

House Mouse

The House Mouse is found throughout North America in homes and businesses. It has adapted very well to living with humans. Being nocturnal, most of their activity is at night. Mice have poor sight but an excellent sense of hearing, smell, and taste. the House Mouse breeds throughout the year with females having litters five to 10 times a year, with the number of offspring ranging from three to 12 per litter.

Deer Mice

The Deer Mouse is also found throughout North America. They are related to the House Mouse but differ in that they are proficient jumpers and runners. Deer Mice are a particular concern because they can carry and spread disease which can be deadly to humans.
