Silverfish have flat, elongated bodies up to 3/4″ long. They live and develop in damp, cool places – most often found in kitchens, bathrooms and basements. Silverfish are also commonly found in new construction where walls and lumber are still damp, as well as in books, newspapers, magazines and stored fabric.
